Massachusetts motorcycle accident leaves rider seriously hurt

Massachusetts authorities are still attempting to complete an investigation into the cause of a collision between a motor bike and a vehicle. The motorcycle accident occurred in mid-March and it has caused two people to suffer injuries. The rider of the motorcycle was the most severely wounded.

Authorities report that the accident occurred after a vehicle being driven by a woman in her 30s was attempting to negotiate a left-hand turn. According to published accounts of the accident, the car was pulled ahead of the motorcycle. The rider of the motor bike was not able to prevent colliding with the car.

The motorcycle's wheels lost contact with the road surface as it slammed into the car. The bike's operator was thrown from his seat by the force of the impact and was subsequently tossed into a nearby snow pile. As a result, he has sustained major trauma to his lower torso from having landed with such force.

Rescue personnel transported the man to a local medical facility. A passenger in the vehicle is also reported to have required medical treatment. It remains unclear if Massachusetts police will pursue legal charges in the aftermath of this wreck.

However, for the man who has sustained serious injuries in this motorcycle accident, it is almost certain that he will face a long and possibly difficult recovery. If it can be proved or suggested that the driver of the car was indeed at fault for the collision, then the victim may be able to file a personal injury suit against the driver. Such an action may possibly enable the victim to find some reprieve from the monetary burdens that he and his family may suffer from the massive costs and loss of income that are frequently associated with these life-altering accidents.
